每個夜晚我都很規律的做我有興趣的事情。然而，九月，我被兩部歷史劇分心，一是臥薪嘗膽，另一部是江山風雨情。

I do the same thing regularly every single night. On September, i was distracted by two historical dramas, one is 臥薪嘗膽, another is 江山風雨情.

我瘋狂追劇追了快一個月，兩部分別是 42 集和 40 集。臥薪嘗膽的故事要追溯到春秋時代。由於趙王勾踐的傲慢和輕視，差點被吳國滅亡。失敗的君主經歷了戰敗後的屈辱過程。勾踐在服從吳王夫差的同時，也同樣改變了對待平民的性格和治國態度。他過著謹慎的生活，並秘密重組了他的軍隊。經過十多年的休養，趙王勾踐終於振興了他的國家，打敗了吳國，成為一個強國。

I went on almost a one month drama binge to watch 42 and 40 episodes respectively. The story of 臥薪嘗膽dates back to 春秋era. Due to 趙王勾踐whose arrogance and underestimations, which almost cause perish by 吳國. The failed monarch experiences the humiliated process after defeat. While 勾踐 is obeying 吳王夫差, he changes similarly his personality of treating his civilians and the attitude about governing the country. He lived carefully and reorganized his army secretly. By recuperating for over 10 years, finally 趙王勾踐 rejuvenate his country, defeating 吳國 and becoming a strong country. 

這是一個悲傷但令人鼓舞的故事。趙王勾踐是多麼的有耐心。他怎麼會有強大的決心和毅力決定收復祖國？他的軍隊和平民必須多麼忠誠地支持他們的君主的野心。 我被這個故事深深打動了。

It is a sad but encouraging story. How patient 趙王勾踐 is. How could he have strong determination and perseverance deciding to recover his country? How loyal his army and civilians have to support their monarch's ambitions? I am deeply moved by this story.

江山風雨情描寫了明朝末代皇帝。崇禎皇帝與上一任皇帝相比，是一個勤奮但多疑的君主。他處理過多的行政管理問題，例如腐敗和部長之間的衝突。在他的王朝上，他不得不一次次面對邊境戰爭和內戰。但是，他越勤奮，他的王朝滅亡越快。他有絕對的雄心壯志要消滅歹徒和入侵者。然而，他也害怕被大臣出賣。因猜疑，殺了袁崇煥、周延儒、熊文燦等忠心耿耿的將領，加速明朝滅亡。至明末，崇禎於煤山自縊而亡。

江山風雨情 describes the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty. Compared with the previous emperor, 崇禎皇帝 is a diligent but suspicious monarch . He tackles too much administration such as corruption and conflict between ministers. On his dynasty, he has to confront border wars and civil wars again and again. But, the more diligence, the sooner his dynasty ruins. He has absolutely great ambitions to destroy the gangsters and intruders. However, he also has fear of being betrayed by his minister. Due to his suspicions, he kills his loyal and skillful army generals including 袁崇煥， 周延儒， 熊文燦…and so on, which accelerate Ming dynasty ruin. To the end of Ming era, he commits suicide at 煤山.

我對崇禎表示同情，尤其是當故事顯示黑幫頭目李自成闖入紫禁城，崇禎失望和遺憾時。他說他頭髮凌亂，光著腳，以掩飾對祖先和平民的恥辱。他哭著求死。劇情繼續的時候，我也忍不住哭了。演員通過鏡頭描繪的情節是多麼的英勇無畏。然而，在看這部劇之前，崇禎皇帝的死只在我們的史書上寫下了一句話。沒有眼淚，沒有感情。

I show empathy to 崇禎 especially when the story reveals the headman of  gangster, 李自成, bursting  into 紫禁城 and the 崇禎 becomes disappointed and regretful. He says that he has messy hair and is barefoot in order to hide his disgrace from ancestors and civilians. He is crying and asking for death. I couldn't help crying as well when the drama went on. How heroic and brave the plot illustrated by actors through camera! However, before watching this drama, the death of 崇禎皇帝 only is written down one sentence on our history book. No tears, no emotion.

 我累了。這兩部劇讓我心碎。然而我又愛上了中國歷史。我試圖探索更有意義的戲劇和教科書，以了解正在發生的事情並珍惜我現在所擁有的。

I am tired. My heart keeps broken by these two dramas. Yet I love Chinese history again. I try to explore more meaningful drama and textbooks in order to realize what’s going on and treasure what I have at this moment.
