我接到了一個任務，要帶學生參觀藥局。

I was assigned a mission to take students on a company tour.

以下是我對我所負責的部門的簡要介紹。

The following was a brief introduction to my department. 

各位同學大家好，待會的9分鐘由我帶大家繞藥局一圈喔，下午的醫師看病的時間是1:30，所以待會藥師就會開始忙碌了! 今天帶稍微帶大家看一下藥局的藥師在做什麼?

Hello everyone, I am your teacher today. I am responsible for taking you guys on a 9 minutes pharmacy trip. The doctor's consultation time in the afternoon is 1:30, so the pharmacists are going to be busy now! Let us see what pharmacists are doing?

 首先，我們來到的是用藥諮詢室，這是提供民眾有任何跟藥物相關的問題都可以向藥師詢問，包括各種外用製劑的使用方法，我們提供樣品實際操作給病人看

First of all, here is the medicine consultation room. Pharmacists could answer questions about medicines. It is honorable for pharmacists to solve patient’s problems involving teaching patients for accurate use with their drugs. We also operate the special demos step by step for patients who are in need.

 除了病人，藥劑師也經常接到醫務人員的詢問。於是，臨床藥師應運而生。這種角色直接照顧住院病人的藥物。他們對疾病和治療非常熟悉，可以根據最新指南為醫生提供建設性信息。他們可以根據患者的肝腎功能快速識別藥物相互作用並調整藥物劑量和頻率。他們在醫療隊中很重要。此外，外向、熱情的藥劑師可以走進社區，以另一種方式將正確的信息面對面地傳遞給市民。

In addition to patients, sometimes pharmacists are consulted by medical personnel. So, the clinical pharmacists emerge as the times required. This kind of role directly takes care of inpatients about their medicine. They are familiar with the disease and treatment thoroughly, they can advise doctors with constructive information from the newest guideline. They can identify the drug-drug interaction and adjust medicine dose and frequency by patient’s function of liver and kidney quickly. They are important in the medical team. Besides, Pharmacists who are outgoing and enthusiastic can go into the community presenting another way to transmit correct information to citizens face to face.

 藥師的工作很注重的就是正確和安全性，有些藥物是比較危險的藥物，我們會用特殊的顏色做記號，提醒藥師們。整個調劑流程經過三次的把關，調劑藥師的謹慎拿藥，審核藥師檢查藥物之間的交互作用，以及病人肝腎功能等數值，發藥藥師核對藥品無誤後發給病人，調劑是藥師很基本的工作，而處方核對展示藥師的價值。

Correctness and safety are important during the job. Some drugs are relatively dangerous. We will mark them with special colors to remind pharmacists. The entire dispensing process has been checked three times. Prescription checking also shows pharmacist’s values.

 接下來，我將介紹負責採購和管理的藥品倉庫。他們的職責包括成本控制、貨物期限有效性檢查和一些緊急情況的處理。最後，我們來看看無菌室在做什麼？在無菌室，藥劑師必須穿防護服，配製化療等危險藥物或配製眼藥水等無菌藥物。

Next, I will introduce the medicine storage which is in charge of purchasing and management. Their duties are burden comprising cost control, goods of period validity-checking and some sop to emergency situations. Last, let’s find out what the aseptic room is doing? In the aseptic room, pharmacists must wear protective gown to compound dangerous medicines such as chemotherapy or prepare sterile drugs like eye drops and so on.
