It is easy to identify the difference amonst dumpling (水餃、煎餃、鍋貼)、小籠包、包子 in manderine. But, the english words "dumpling" can be  use to classify many different things. what's more, different cultures produce their version of dumpling. let's check out.

 Somosas: the food comes from Persia to India. The shape likes pyramid and the filling are peas and potatoes. It is popular dumplings are sold by street vendors in India. I can imagine the crunchy pastry shell. It looks like very delicious.

Turkish mantis:

It looks similar to Taiwan dumpling but it is smaller. And the ingredients are different from us. It contains onions, lambs and spices with yogurt or tomato sauce. It looks good.
